Three Course Dinner Recipe by Galbani – Mozzarella, Parma ham and fig tart
Starter Serves 6
Crisp, fresh and sweet – the perfect combination for a simple, but impressive, starter.
Ingredients
80g Galbani fresh Mozzarella, torn
1 roll, ready made puff pastry
1 egg, well beaten
8 slices Parma ham
6 figs, washed and quartered
20g wild rocket
1 Tbsp balsamic glaze
Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Line flat baking tray with non stick grease-proof paper. Place the puff pastry on baking tray.
- Lightly brush pastry with egg wash.
- Place a cooling rack on top of pastry to stop the it from rising too much while baking.
- Bake in oven for 20 – 25 minutes until golden and cooked through.
- Remove and cool.
- Top with Parma ham, cut figs, torn mozzarella, and wild rocket.
- Drizzle with balsamic glaze.
