Bellevue Wine Estate in the prestigious Stellenbosch wine growing region in South Africa, cultivates approximately 152ha of vineyards on a variety of sites. This enables the winemaker to select the very best pockets from which to make the exquisite wines that Bellevue Wine Estate is renowned for.
It boasts with an original Cape Dutch homestead built in 1803. After careful restoration in 1993, the house has been declared a National Monument. Together with the historical home, there is also a signal cannon which formed part of the important defence system of the original Cape Colony
Visit our state of the art tasting room and restaurant, furnished inside one of the historical wings of the cellar. Child friendly and with modern finishes and comfort, this proves a destination not to be missed!
Also offering cheese platters and together with the play area for kids; one can now linger a little longer on the oversized verandah.
Please take note that our Restaurant will be closed for the month of July for a well-deserved break after a very successful and busy season as well as for general maintenance. We however look forward to welcoming you back the 1st of August, kicking off with our 5th live music evening on Friday the 3rd of August. Spend the night with friends eating well, sipping on glass of wine and enjoying live entertainment. Take note that even though the restaurant will be closed, our tasting room will still be open for wine tastings and wine sales.
