Christmas Buffet Lunch
Join them for a Christmas buffet lunch on 25 December: gourmet salads, farm breads, traditional carvery with beef, chicken and pork belly, curries, vegetables and delicious Christmas pudding, cupcakes, tarts and more. Plus there will be some jazz to set the mood and a supervised entertainment for the kids.
The cost is R850 per adult and R300 for kids 6-12 and includes food and beer, water, wine and soft drinks. Children under 6 eat free. Book at www.spier.co.za/events
Set menu at Vadas Smokehouse and Bakery
Vadas Smokehouse & Bakery is showing they’re more than just a smokehouse with a world inspired set menu. Take your taste buds on a journey across the globe with trout gravlax with pickled beets, mushroom arancini with aioli, Malay-spiced chicken wings and jalapeno stuffed with cheese and brisket, wrapped in bacon, roast pork belly, smoked chicken with pork sage and apricot stuffing, honey fudge, mince pies, Vadas’s famous pasteis de nata and more! There is also a vegetarian option. The cost is R650 per person and R250 per child between 5 and 12.

Picnic it up on the lawn
Dine alfresco on Christmas Day with a festive picnic basket. Open it up to find smoked salmon trout, gammon terrine and a grain salad featuring Christmas spices, pickled cranberry and confit duck, mince pies and chocolate trifle. The basket provides enough for two and costs.
