Their expertise ensures that every pour is both generous and informative, ensuring you get the full appreciation that goes into making the wines at Hazendal.

If you’re feeling peckish, complement your tasting with a Cheese or Charcuterie board, available for R115 – R195. These boards are thoughtfully curated to pair perfectly with the wines, providing a delightful addition to your wine tasting experience.

We chose a selection of their Estate Wines & Heritage Collection to get an overview of the wine range by Hazendal. 

Heritage White Blend
This wine feels like a fresh breeze on a warm day. It’s got this lively mix of lemon, green melon, and citrus blossom that just pops in your mouth. Then there’s a hint of pear and guava that adds a bit of sweetness.

Heritage Blanc de Noir (our favourite!!!)
Imagine strolling through a summer garden with a bowl of freshly picked berries in hand. That’s the vibe this wine gives off. The aromas are a delightful mix of strawberries, raspberries, and peaches, with a touch of floral elegance from roses and citrus blossoms.

Hazendal Sémillon Sauvignon Blanc
This blend is a real treat for the senses. The Sémillon brings out these lovely floral notes—think honeysuckle and violets—while the Sauvignon Blanc adds a zesty twist with freshly cut grass and grapefruit. It’s crisp and refreshing!

Hazendal Pinot Noir
This Pinot Noir is like a walk through a forest after rain—earthy and rich, with hints of mushroom that add a savory depth. Juicy plum, raspberry, and strawberry notes make it fruit-forward, but it’s that smoky undertone that really sets it apart.

Hazendal Pinotage
This Pinotage is a warm embrace of red fruit aromas—plum, cherry, and violets greet you immediately. There’s a seductive smokiness to it, with hints of truffle that give it a bit of an edge.

Hazendal Syrah
This Syrah is like diving into a bowl of juicy dark berries—blueberry and blackberry dominate, with a spicy kick of white pepper. There’s a rich quality to it, with a subtle smokiness that reminds me of Parma ham.
