The Craft Beer Project continues its quest to take Craft Beer, Food and Craft Lifestyles to the devoted South African artisan culture. After the success of the 2013 Constantia Craft Beer Project Festival, The Craft Beer Project once again teams up with the sporting institution of the Constantia region, False Bay Rugby Club and VOB Running Club.
An ideal, safe and scenic environment for all cultures to celebrate the art of making and drinking beer and wine all paired with food at a festival where the general public can freely interact and share traditional brewing methods, complimenting food, products and entertainment.
Beer and wine drinking is a favourite South African past time and we always appreciate a lifestyle festival that is accessible and fun. Festival enthusiasts can look forward to a range of brews from local, national and international micro brewers. – Russ Meyer co-owner of The Craft Beer Project on what to expect at the festival.
A selection of quality foods provided by Cape Town Food Trucks, all specifically paired with various brews will also be on offer. The Grubbery, Meisies Kitchen Food Truck and Limoncello Food Truck are three of the custom designed trucks that will be at the festival offering everything from Gourmet Southern Italian food to local fare such as chicken curry and home-made milk tartlets. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available encouraging families and just about everyone to come along and celebrate!
This year The Constantia Craft Beer Project has an exciting new addition of the SA Hot-rods who will be showcasing some of their classic cars & bikes. The entertainment line-up features a hot line-up of Cape Town’s popular bands such as The Rivertones along with a headline act, the live electronic duo, The Kiffness with Matthew Gold on vocals. Tickets are R90 Online plus beer glass and R120 at the door plus beer glass.
