Monthly Winemaker Lunch at Benguela on Main

Benguela on Main is proud to announce their next Chef and Sommelier lunch experience on Friday, 15th of April 2016 at 12:30pm.

The event takes on a relaxed atmosphere at this prestigious venue, where winemakers get the chance to present their wines to peers and Benguela Cove Group Sommelier Denis Garret for possible inclusion in the Benguela on Main winelist.

Denis Garret hails from France and is a member of Association des Sommeliers Paris Ile-de-France, the oldest sommelier association in the world. Denis is also certified as a Cognac Educator through the Bureau National Interprofessionnel du Cognac, an interprofessional association for the preservation and promotion of Cognac. These prestigious memberships, coupled with many years of experience, makes Denis very knowledgeable on champagne, cognac and wine.

Winemakers are invited to bring a special bottle of wine along to showcase and enjoy at 12 noon with a four-course lunch charged at R700 per person. Denis will be on hand to review and facilitate the conversation around the wines. Tickets can be purchased online or by calling us at 087 357 0637.
