With lock-down still in full force, this doesn’t mean that you can’t get creative with your gift ideas for friends, family or your favourite foodie.
Nadege Cuisine is currently offering French cooking classes on Zoom video calls where you can learn how to make traditional French dishes in the comfort of your own home. After you have decided which dishes you’d like to perfect, you will be sent a list of ingredients and kitchen utensils needed so you are ready and prepared once the big day arrives.
With all hands on deck, Nadege will be taking you through every step of the cooking process encouraging you to ask questions as you cook along.
A few dishes that can be part of the cooking class include:
- a true Nicoise salad
- cheese souffle
- roast pork with ginger and dry apricots
- lamb stew from Provence
- veggies terrine
- tuna tartare
- chicken poached in spices
- brinjal tiaan
- ratatouille
- ….and more
There are plenty of options for the carnivore, herbivore and pescatarian. If there is any specific recipe you would like to learn, that can also be arranged. You can purchase a voucher for a class hosted on Zoom, or if you can wait until lock-down has ended, you can join a in-person 3 hour cooking class where you will make a starter, main and dessert for R700.
