In April 2013, Hilton Worldwide announced the official opening of the first DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in South Africa. This occasion was celebrated with a “One Year Dinner” a few week ago, where guests were treated to a fantastic six course menu and paired excellently with South African wines.

The hotel has become synonymous with wonderful service, warm and friendly ambience and excellent amenities but there is also one slightly quirky and delicious aspect that keeps guests coming back for more: The renowned chocolate chip cookie! Since its opening on the 15th April 2013, the hotel has handed out over 70,000 cookies to their valued guests.
The Liberty’s Restaurant at DoubleTree by Hilton is headed by executive chef Simon Kemp who is renowned for his professional creativity and attention to detail. He created a seasonal a la Carte fusion-style menu which is available at the restaurant. If you just wish to unwind after a long day at work, you can also visit the eStreet Bar and Lounge. Cocktails and drinks are served until 1 am with live entertainment on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
