They are offering three options for a harvest experience.
Half Day for R700:
You will be welcomed at the farm just before dawn as harvest starts. An unforgettable experience, being entirely part of the Marianne harvest team, you’ll learn to cut the clusters row by row under guidance of their beloved viticulturist Ernest.
Once the job is done, you’ll be treated to a well-deserved breakfast at the Tasting Room. The work then continues in the cellar where you will be selecting the healthiest grapes that will end up in their fermentation tanks.
The experience will end with a well-deserved South African braai.
Full day for R950:
With a similar morning to the Half Day, after a little bit more work in the cellar where you will monitor the fermentation process, you will have a barrel tasting and a Wine & Biltong pairing served on their panoramic desk.
1 day/1 night for R3900:
This includes a night’s stay at their Guest house with dinner and breakfast included. You can choose between the night before harvest, to make sure you are on time for work, or after…. to rest!
