Borruso’s Too is the second addition in Cape Town to the popular Borruso’s. This vibey pizza and pasta family restaurant offers an authentic Italian feel. The menu offers traditional Italian cuisine with your favourite pizzas and pastas. Borruso’s Too has a friendly atmosphere and, some say, the best pizza in town!
If you don’t mind something a little on the sweet side, there is one cocktail on the menu at Borruso’s Too, a fun and tasty Jam Jar that is easily shared between two or three. The Borruso’s Too desserts are sheer decadence including a banana flambé that is quite the tasty treat, no matter what day of the week. If banana is not your flavour then the cheesecake and famous Borruso’s Too chocolate brownies are a truly incredible way to end a great meal and an awesome evening.
Borruso’s Too is conveniently located on Main Road in Plumstead. The Italian eatery is fully licensed and asks a very affordable corkage. Load shedding is definitely not a problem with wood fired and the kitchen operates as normal. Although the card machines are down when the lights are out, it is extremely handy that the FNB cash machine just next door still operates in spite of load shedding.
Cameron, the owner with 10 years pizza making experience behind him, invites you to come in, sit down, play a game, enjoy a drink and a bite to eat. There is nothing like quality Italian food. The restaurant has meals to suit everyone’s tastes and dietary requirements. Wheat free bases can be ordered at an additional cost of R20; there is no additional charge for wheat free pasta.
A big wine list is also available to choose from but feel free to bring in your own bottle of wine, provided we do not stock it. The restaurant only charges corkage after the 2nd bottle of wine has been opened.
For the book lovers out there, Borruso’s Too has a range of books for you to relax with while waiting for your order or while enjoying a glass of wine. Board games can also be borrowed and played during the evening.
