Stella and Roxanne started “The Revolution” in September 2014 and after just a few months this little gem has grown, with an increasing number of Banters visiting for breakfast and lunch.
The owners decided to go the coffee shop route and include a Banting menu as part of their standard offering. This after doing a lot of research into Tim Noakes and his Revolutionary approach to diet that follows that of William Banting from the 1800’s.
As the festive season is nearly upon us, The Revolution is baking home-made banting cookies (R35) that will have everyone screaming with joy. The main ingredients include coconut flour, flaxseed powder, and xylitol. These are by far the most delicious and cheapest banting cookies you will find!
