The Bay Harbour Market is bringing funny back this summer!
Hosted once a month, the relaunch of the popular comedy evenings will be kicking off at the end of October. This new series of stand-up comedy promises to raise a few thigh slapping belly-laughs this season. In addition to setting tongues wagging, the show is sure to get stomachs grumbling too, so grab a quick bite to eat before you grab your seat, from various of the market’s legendary food traders.
Fill your tummy with all kinds of treats, like chilli poppers, wraps, cakes, seafood, pork belly, lamb, dim sum and oysters, to name a few! There are banting offerings for the healthy and Indian street food for the adventurous – the list is as endless as the pleasure.
General tickets for the comedy show go for R80 per person at quicket. Staying true to the market’s vision and mission of supporting the local community, a portion of all proceeds goes to supporting a local charity called The Smipes Foundation, here in Hout Bay.
