De Grendel is warming up your winter with a delicious lunch special!
The Winter lunch Special will run every Tuesday – Friday with three-course menu for R425, which includes a glass of wine with each course.
The lunch begins with a yoghurt & muesli loaf with Jersey butter, for starters you have multiple choices including Char Sui pork belly with kimchi, pear, daikon, radish, pork cheek and crackling; and Tuna Tataki with cabbage, pineapple, cucumber, tamarind, sesame, cashew and black bean
For mains your choices include delectable dishes like Crumbed Wild Mushroom with red pepper pesto, charred broccoli and parmesan; and Beef Fillet with short rib, smoked veal tongue, bone marrow, onion jam, dauphinoise and tobacco jus.
For dessert you can look forward to Valrhona Aero with nutella mousse, lime, banana brûlée and hazelnut; Poppy Seed with lemon, carrot, mascarpone, cinnamon, ginger, orange, yoghurt, pecan nut; or a Trio of Sorbet.
