Known for its prime position overlooking the ocean and cliff path in Hermanus, The Marine Hotel is a popular lunch destination where diners enjoy taking in the views while indulging in Chef Oelof Vorster’s culinary creations.
Leading up to the holiday season, a range of lunch specials are currently available.
Available for only R95 per plate, accompanied by a glass of Bonnievale wines’ Sauvignon Blanc, Cinsault Rosé or Cabernet Sauvignon. (R30 per glass).
What’s on the Menu?
The Marine’s lunch specials are available Monday to Saturday, until 15 December 2022, featuring a selection of summer dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients. Light, plant-based options comprise of Stuffed aubergine, zucchini, tomato, sunflower seeds, capers & ricotta; or Spring pea risotto, mange tout, asparagus, split peas & garden shoots. Roast chicken ballotine is served with red pepper, sugar snap peas, broccoli, sweet corn & pom puree; whilst Salt and pepper crispy squid, house salad, triple-cooked chips & tartar sauce is perfectly suited to seaside dining, served on the terrace, or in the cool tranquility of the Pavilion Restaurant.
