Delicious Puttanesca Pasta Recipe with Banhoek Chilli Oil

To get you started, they’ve posted this delicious Puttanesca Pasta recipe that we are dieing to try out ourselves. With anchovies, red wine, capers, olives – and of course – Banhoek Chilli Oil, we are sure it will be a massive hit with the entire family.

Puttanesca Pasta Recipe

Prep Time: 10min

  • 150g Cooked pasta of choice
  • 20ml Cooking oil
  • 20g Anchovy chopped
  • 20g Onion chopped
  • 5g Garlic
  • 30ml Red wine
  • 20g Grated parmesan
  • 50g Cherry tomato
  • 🌶20ml Banhoek Chilli Oil🌶
  • 3g Chilli flakes
  • 1 sprig Rosemary chopped
  • 4 sprigs Thyme chopped
  • 20g Capers
  • 30g Olives
  • 5g Parsley
  • 80ml Pizza sauce

Method:

  1. Cook pasta to manufactured specifications.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan. Add the onions, garlic, chilli flakes, cherry tomato, capers and olives and cook for two minutes on medium heat.
  3. Add the pizza sauce and cook for about a minute.
  4. Then deglaze the pan with the red wine and let it cook for 10 seconds.
  5. Add the anchovy and the pasta and toss in the sauce till coated.
  6. Put the heat on its lowest setting and sprinkle with parsley and toss the pasta again.
  7. Plate the pasta and finish with grated parmesan cheese and enjoy.
