Calling all Foodies – Book your table for Restaurant Week!

No matter what your age, gender, race, occupation, or how you take your coffee, everyone has one thing in common. We love to eat!

Restaurant Week 2019 is underway and no doubt some eager patrons are already making their way to the first restaurant participating. And there are a lot! How did they even know which ones to go to and how did they book, you ask? It’s simple! They went to www.restaurantweek.co.za and checked out the list of 100 restaurants listed and are now going to enjoy brilliant specials – 2-course dinners starting at R150 and 3-course dinners starting at R250.

To give you an idea of what you can expect from each city taking part:

  • Cape Town: De Grendel, Karibu, HQ, Liberty’s Restaurant.
  • Winelands: Glen Carlou, Restaurant at Neethlingshof, Haute Cabriere.
  • Johannesburg: LBV, Central One, Link Restaurant, The Bull Run.
  • Pretoria: Carbon Bistro, LeSi Restaurant, Prosopa.
  • Durban: Big Easy by Ernie Els, The Chef’s Table, Elements Café.

Some restaurants in the spotlight

The Course in Johannesburg: Combining modern culinary expressionism with classical techniques, Executive Chef Eli Williams prides herself on the construction of distinct flavours.

Dash Restaurant in Cape Town: Dash, although it caters for Queen Victoria Hotel guests, is a stand-alone establishment that welcomes patrons from near and far.

The Chef’s Table in Durban: Award winning Chef Kayla-Ann presents a modern menu inspired by the best local ingredients that Kwa-Zulu Natal has to offer.
