Popular Col’Cacchio pizzeria Celebrity Chef Series is BACK!

Col’Cacchio pizzeria today launched the 2016/17 edition of its’ much loved Celebrity Chef Series. The range will be available at all stores across South Africa from November 2016 to April 2017, along with the new Summer menu. The popular Italian-inspired eatery will be collaborating with distinguished celeb chefs: Zola Nene, Neill Anthony and Claire Allen to deliver a new range of limited edition gourmet pizzas’.

The Celebrity Chef Series kicked off in 2009 and Col’Cacchio pizzeria has over the years worked with a number of talented chefs experimenting with a diversity of ingredients to create authentic, fresh and innovative dishes. For the first time this year, the three celeb-inspired pizzas’ will be on sale at the same time and for an extended period of 6 months.

Celebrity Chef Series 2016/2017 at Col’Cacchio

Pizza fans are invited to dine at Col’Cacchio pizzerias from November 2016 to April 2017 to experience the delectable line up of signature pizza creations, including:

• Zola Nene’s Don Salsa, a tomato base, pulled BBQ chicken pizza drenched in mozzarella, smoked mozzarella with corn and a fresh avocado salsa topped with TABASCO® Chipotle Sauce

• Neill Anthony’s The Private Chef, a crème fraîche & spinach base, mozzarella with a marinated Asian chicken topped with a truffle infused Asian mayonnaise, crispy leeks, basil and Italian parmesan shavings

• Claire Allen’s The Phat Cat, an authentic play on lasagna; beef bolognaise with a creamy béchamel sauce topped with mozzarella

Since 2009 the Celebrity Chef Series has raised over R1.8 million for charitable causes through the R5 donation from the sale of each celebrity chef pizza. Funds raised through the 2016/17 campaign will be donated to the Children’s Hospital Trust, fundraiser for the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital, which treats children from around the country as well as kids from all over Africa.
