Chef Louisa Greeff has prepared a menu inspired by the unique combinations found with certain flavours and the exceptional tastes of using locally sourced produce.
The three course lunch is offered from 12.00 to 15.00 and costs R325 (excluding wine pairing) and R395 (including wine pairing) per person. Starters include homemade beef, chicken liver pâté and brandy sausage; prawn ravioli with smoked salmon; roasted butternut, sweet potato and cumin samoosas or caramelised tomato and onion tarte tatin.
Mains offer a choice between pork neck stuffed with onion marmalade, sage and Healeys cheddar; grilled fish, beef ribeye; or Moroccan spiced chicken. End the lunch with rum baba with poached fruit and cream; pear and almond tart with homemade rooibos and honey ice cream or a cheese platter with preserves and bread.
