Main Road Green Point’s restaurant scene will be injected with new energy in the form of the soon-to-launch Eye Bar. With an opening planned for mid-December 2020, the new venue will greet members of the public with a contemporary menu of tapas-style sharing plates, sushi and firm favorites like gourmet burgers and superbly grilled steaks.
Comprising a bar area, restaurant and terrace section, Eye Bar is located within the new Vib Cape Town hotel, the first Vib by Best Western in the Southern Hemisphere! With eye-popping architecture by well-known local architect Robert Silke and vibey contemporary interior design decked out in striking white, black and red, the Eye Bar intends to attract a vibrant crowd who enjoy the good things in life.
The venue will be managed by GM Niall Bruyns, with Chef Johann Breedt at the helm.
Vib is a vibrant, energy-filled brand and so we want visitors to the Eye Bar to experience this infectious exuberance. We want people to come, enjoy the upbeat vibe and leave more than satisfied after a skillfully prepared, delicious sit-down meal or signature cocktails at the bar.
Patrons – non-resident and resident guests alike – will be able to wine and dine on the funky interior, or outside on the terrace.
