The festive season at the Grande Roche Hotel promises to be a spectacular affair for all, whether you are single, a couple or a family with kids in tow. We have tailor-made something special just for you.
Throughout December the Grande Roche Hotel’s laid back and contemporary Bistro Allegro is offering a delicious a la carte and three course menu which are tantalizingly tempting, encourag-ing you to return time and time again. Enjoy this more informal meal at lunchtime anywhere in the hotel; whether it be on the pool patio, in the Manor House, the Bistro or seated on the Terrace overlooking the Drakenstein Mountains. This menu is also served at dinner.
Christmas festivities kick off on Christmas Eve, 24 December 2013, with the mellow sounds of ac-claimed pianist Rita Mustaine accompanying a five course gourmet dinner crafted by Michelin-trained Executive Chef extraordinaire, Roland Gorgosilich, at the world renowned Bosman’s Restaurant. Dinner is perfected by the expert wine and food pairing services of Sommelier, Kayetan Meissner, the winner of the 2013 “The Bollinger Exceptional Wine Service Award.” Adults pay R1275,00 per person, excluding beverages, and kids 11 years and younger, pay R610 each.
Children will definitely want to stay for lunch the following day. Dressed up in his jolly red suit, Fa-ther Christmas makes a special appearance whilst a jumping castle will be set up for them to play away their pent up energy. The swimming pool near the restaurant will have a lifeguard on duty so that they can take a dip when things get too hot. Face painting will also help keep them occupied whilst you sit back and relax.
Knowing that your children are being looked after, you can enjoy the extensive buffet and unique ambience of the Manor House with the talented duo, The Mix, providing background music and song.
