A spectacular new restaurant in Greenpoint, Upper Bloem is a perfect venue for small events, long, lazy lunches or festive year-end celebrations.
Their Cape-inspired menu is really something special, a menu that references unique Cape Town flavours and draws inspiration from the port city’s mix of cultures. Their dishes are seasonally inspired and tapas style.
Lunch is available from Wednesday to Saturday (R250pp x 6 tapas to share) and Diner is available from Tuesday to Saturday (R450pp x 9 tapas to share).
Their menu features many delectable options, including Salt and Pepper hake ‘sandwich’ – African potato / pickled cucumber; Boerenkaas croquettes – curried aioli / shaved radish; and Duck ‘Oumas onder die kombers’ – smoked duck ham / grilled baby gem /salad.
