Fine Wining at HQ with Diemersdal

The Winter Fine Wining Dinners continue with their usual flair, with the next dinner being held at HQ on 5th of October. This month, HQ is partnering with Diemersdal to bring guests a night of elegant simplicity and dining excellence.

These dinners give HQ guests a chance to enjoy wines (from popular Western Cape farms) which have been artfully paired with HQ house specialities – not to mention a unique dessert created specifically for each evening.  Entertainment by Ricky Botsis helps keep the mood light but romantic, making Fine Wining perfect for impressing a date, family or friends.

The evening starts at 19h00 and booking is essential.

Aperitif
Paprika wagon wheel with parma ham and melon salsa, salmon roe and basil; paired with Diemersdal Sparkling Sauvignon Blanc NV

Starter
A crisp salad of cos and iceberg leaves, toasted pine nuts,
parmesan shavings and dressed with a dijon mustard vinagrette; paired with Diemersdal Sauvignon Blanc

Main
250g Sirloin wet-aged for 32 days and grilled perfectly medium-rare, served with skinny fries & Café de Paris Butter; paired with Diemersdal Merlot

(V) Portobello mushrooms stuffed with a rich Duxelle, gratinated with parmesan cheese and served with skinny fries & Café de Paris Butter; served with Diemersdal Merlot

Dessert
Green apple jelly with toffee crème, lime crumble and apple Crisp; paired with Diemersdal Unwooded Chardonnay
