Alicia Giliomee, the executive chef at Rhebokskloof Wine Estate has shared her famous flourless chocolate torte recipe on their Facebook Page. Every week they will showcase a new recipe for you to try out by yourself. If you’re feeling a little lazy, there is one very easy solution. Flourless Chocolate Torte
Serves 10-12

Ingredients
- 345g dark chocolate, good quality
- 180g unsalted butter
- 6 eggs, beaten
- 210g treacle brown sugar
- 65ml hazelnut liqueur
- 1 cup ground almonds and hazelnuts (half: half)
Method
- Preheat oven to 165˚C.Line base and sides of a 22cm spring-form pan.
- Place chocolate and butter into a bowl over a pot of simmering water and stir till melted.
- Take care not to allow water into the mixture.
- Cream eggs and sugar. Beat in liqueur and fold in chocolate mixture. Lastly fold in the ground nuts. Whisk till smooth.
- Spoon into tin and cover with foil. Bake for 42min.Remove foil and cool in the cake tin, then refrigerate until cold.
I personally love dressing her up with a homemade crystallized Ginger, Double Caramel or Espresso Parfait and it is equally delicious with a simple chilli-chocolate Ganache. – Alicia, executive chef at Rhebokskloof.
