The Botanical Society of South Africa’s Plant Committee will be presenting an enlightening conservation talk. This event is perfect for plant enthusiasts, families, and anyone interested in learning about the incredible flora and fauna found in and around Benguela Cove and the Western Cape.

Discover the unique plants and wildlife that make this area so special. The Botanical Society of South Africa’s Conservation Manager, Dr Martina Treurnicht and Master Horticulturist, Cherise Viljoen, owner of Cherish Plants, are together offering a fun and informative talk on The Botanical Society of South Africa ongoing conservation work, and how to practically apply climate-smart gardening techniques, using attractive indigenous plants and natural methods.

Guests will also get to enjoy a variety of tasters, with an indigenous plant theme (tantalizing indigenous fruit jams, and fynbos honey on fresh scones). PLUS, each attendee will receive a complimentary gift (plant lovers take note!).
