The infamous Truck Norris, local food truck making waves in the industry, will be at the Capegate Craft Beer Festival on 30 and 31 August 2019.
The owners – an accountant, a chef and a smooth operator – got together a few years ago and decided that starting a food truck was the next big thing they needed in their lives.
Want to know what they’re all about? We asked them a few questions about how it began and where you can find them, when not at the #CGBeerFest – have a look!
Truck Norris – what a cool play on words for the name of the truck, how did that come about?
We had a month 2 go before we were due to have our first event at the Cape Town Festival of Beer and the name actually just jumped into my partners head out of nowhere. What a legend!
Do you have any permanent spot – where can people try your food?
We have recently opened our first store in the Ironworks building, 240 Sir Lowry Road Woodstock. You can also find us on UBER Eats, Mr D Food App and Order In.
So, you can get your favourite Truck Norris menu item wherever you are!
What is your speciality?
All our menu items are quite special, but if it’s your first-time having Truck Norris – you have to have the Free-Range Beef Burger.
What makes Truck Norris unique?
We believe in the best quality of ingredients for our menu items! Everything from our meat, pickles, sauce and buns have been carefully selected from local suppliers. That is what makes our food spectacular and people coming back for more!
Catch Truck Norris and their amazing grub at this year’s Capegate Craft Beer Festival. Tickets cost R75 via Computicket and R90 at the door. Tickets cost includes one complimentary drink and an amazing entertainment line-up.
