Spier Light Art is back from 8 December until 19 January. Expect a dazzling light and sound display in the form of artworks throughout the farm.
An opening ceremony on 6 and 7 December will mark the beginning of this experience.
Be sure not to miss the procession of dancers, stilt walkers and other illuminating enchantments. The Light Art exhibit will feature 21 light and sound installations by some of the country’s leading artists and designers.
Performances include choreographer Jay Pather’s performance piece, From Before, featuring 22 Shembe, classical ballet and Bharatha Natyam dancers, a new production by the Indoni Dance Company and a production with large puppets by Janni Younge.
Ticket prices are as follows:
R200 per adult (includes a complimentary glass of wine)
R75 per child under 12.
R650 per couple (includes two adult entry tickets, a picnic and bottle of Signature Spier wine).
