Tobago’s Restaurant, Bar and Terrace at the Radisson Blu, Waterfront strives to deliver the best and freshest food this side of the Atlantic. Literally. Dine seaside on their expansive terrace, feasting on gourmet dishes such as beef fillet with pan fried wild mushrooms, lamb rogan josh, chickpea and green vegetable coconut curry, roast butternut with sweet potato and fetta bake and sweet treats like sticky cape pudding and dark chocolate tart.
We’re a rainbow nation, right? That’s why on Heritage Day, 24 September, Tobago’s Restaurant, Bar and Terrace is inviting you to dig into a buffet menu with as many flavours as we have diverse cultures in this country.
Guests can look forward to salads and starters such as a spicy three-bean salad, marinated half-shell mussels, smoked springbok carpaccio. The braai corner includes chunky vegetable kebabs, beef boerewors, corn on the cob with a chilli soy butter, lamb chops and beef fillet steaks.
Main dishes include braised ostrich neck in a red wine reduction served with pearl onions and baby vegetables, line fish parcels with apricot jam, lemon and black pepper and baked potatoes with sour cream. Dessert is a selection of local favourites such as milk tarts, koeksisters, trifle, malva pudding and more.
Lunch is served from 12:30-15:30 and costs R455 per person, including a welcome drink. Children under the age of 5 eat with their compliments, and children aged 5 to 12 receive a 50% discount. There will also be Amarula and Bains specials running throughout the day.
