Pioneers of the mono-menu, HQ Restaurant has made its mark with a decade of quality dining!
On their 10th birthday, they are looking back on how it all began. In 2008, HQ’s partners had a dream to create a restaurant with a simple yet premium menu, in a beautifully designed, sleek space.
Many were sceptical about the mono menu, but we believed in the concept wholeheartedly – and as they say, the rest is history!” adds Iain Banner. “In many ways it has become more than what we could have ever dreamed of. Over the years, we’ve introduced many regular and successful events such as Live Music Mondays, Date Night, Fine Wining Pairing Dinners as well as The Raise The Steaks Celebrity Chef Steak Dinners. – says Matt Mulholland.
An extremely proud and grateful team, they’ve been voted (by the public) as one of the top 10 steakhouses in the country on a yearly basis. The aim at the beginning is still the same today, it’s all about delivering an exceptional experience to every guest, quality over quantity.
To celebrate this impressive milestone in the notoriously fickle restaurant business, HQ will be hosting a birthday party on 22 November. In true HQ fashion, they’ll be pulling out all the stops with a night of spoils, the best music, and the usual upbeat HQ vibe.
Kicking off at 6pm with beats by Anthea Scholtz in the Heritage Square, you can enjoy welcome drinks by Hendricks Gin, complimentary food and drink stalls. Pierre Jourdan will be offering a Bubbly & Oyster bar, and Haute Cabriere will have a wine station with some of their best wines on offer! For the beer lovers, there’ll be a Jack Black Beer craft beer bar.
From 8pm, DJ Rene AKA The Frenchman and his acoustic band will be on the tunes until midnight in the lounge.
