The Ginger & Lime interactive foodie experiences are being taken to the next level by introducing the Thyme & Tide retreat weekends.
Spend a full weekend away at The Beach House Collection in Yzerfontein, where you get to enjoy wonderful food, interactive cooking classes and the incredible hospitality of your hosts.

Weekend Experience Schedule
Friday 11th May
- Arrive from 3pm onwards
- Getting to know each other: relax, settle in to your magnificent room, get away from the city and get those feet in the sand!
- 5.30pm Sundowners on the deck: Gin & Tonic Bar set up to create your unique blend
- 6.30 – 9.30pm Casual Braai around the fire (including wine & beers)
Saturday 12th May:
- Continental breakfast served at White Sands Beach Villa for overnighting guests
- Other guests to join us from 10 to 12 noon, check in to rooms
- Lunch will be held demo/partly interactive style:
- Appetiser followed by a West Coast Seafood Rice Dish followed by dessert
After lunch is at your leisure to rest/ walk or just chill - 5.30pm Join us for a cocktail on the deck before we get down to some serious work
- 6 to 10 pm: Full Ginger & Lime Interactive Cooking Experience including wine and beers
- Get a good night’s rest to the sound of the waves crashing on the shore
Sunday 13th May
- HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY BRUNCH served from 10am to 12 noon, so that you can still get back to see any other Mums that may need spoiling!
All recipes provided. All meals and drinks, tea, coffee and waters will be supplied. These will provide a full list for these upon booking, to see if you would like to bring any of your own drinks, no corkage charged.
