Time to travel to Italy for the perfect date night in Johannesburg!
Indulge in a night of Italian magic and world-class wine upcoming event “Taste of Italy” in co-operation with Diemersfontein Wines hosted at La Cucina di Ciro in Parktown North on 28 February.
Run by David Sonnenberg, this event promises to be a memorable culinary experience.
Upon arrival, guests will be greeted with a glass of Diemersfontein wine, setting the tone for the evening’s festivities. The menu features an array of Italian-inspired dishes, each expertly paired with a different wine by Diemersfontein. From a roulade of smoked salmon to a baked yellowtail dish, each course is sure to tantalize your taste buds.
The main course offers a choice of three delectable dishes, including deboned rolled leg of lamb, a slow-cooked risotto with wild mushrooms, and a baked yellowtail topped with baba ganoush. The evening will conclude with a sweet and decadent dessert, a soft meringue with pistachio millefeuille and mascarpone, garnished with a sabayon. In addition to the sumptuous food and wine, guests will also be treated to a special musical performance on the night.
