A partnership with Angostura Bitters, the aim of Mootee Kombuis is create a platform where Melville locals can experience locally inspired, low impact dishes designed by passionate South African chefs.
The inaugural Mootee Kombuis event will be taking place on the 28th of November, featuring award winning chef, Jack Coetzee, of Urbanology. Mootee Bar and Jack Coetzee will bring you a mouth-watering experience, exciting cocktails meet local cuisine.
Born and raised in Zimbabwe, and well-travelled through South Africa, Chef Jack is part of a new generation of young, vibrant South African chefs. A one night only event, Mootee Bar is super stoked to be teaming up with Chef Jack as he showcases a signature 3 course meal designed specifically for this event using Angostura Bitters as an ingredient. This meal will be paired with a delicious cocktail from the new Mootee Bar menu, M2.0 The Art of Texture.
