It just so happens that World Rose Day, World Gin Day and World Cucumber Day are all celebrated in the month of June!
Always pushing the limits of the peculiar, Hendrick’s Gin is paying tribute to this delightful trio with a range of festivities.
As Rose and Cucumber are two of Hendrick’s Gin’s most prominent infusions, a celebration of sorts is definitely in order for the momentous month of June. The infusion of rose petals and cucumber is the perfect double act, exquisitely complimenting the gins inherent juniper elixir.
Hendrick’s Gin is already celebrating the essential G&T companion, the cucumber, with their Cucumber Currency Specials at 20 participating bars across Gauteng, the Western Cape and Kwa-Zulu Natal until the 14th of June.
Now, it’s time to raise a glass to the rose.
Hendrick’s invites you to stir up the most classic of their charmingly peculiar tipples, the Hendrick’s Gin and Tonic, or more succinctly, the ‘H&T’.
GIN & TONIC
CHARACTER:
Bitter, Floral, Fizzy
SKILL LEVEL:
Novice
INGREDIENTS:
50ml Hendrick’s Gin
150ml Tonic Water
3 Thinly sliced rounds of cucumber, or any garnish that tickles your fancy, as long as it’s cucumber.
PREPARATION:
- Fill a highball glass with good cubed ice.
- Combine all ingredients and give a gentle stir.
- Garnish with 3 thinly sliced rounds of cucumber.
