Oh, this is so cool. The Counter, a confectionery and catering company in Joburg, closed their doors when the lockdown was announced, so their staff could be safe at home.
Dedicated to paying their staff salaries, they looked for a new way to bring in money. And voila! Introducing The Sort Of Cookbook. A Recipe e-Book packed with simple, delicious recipes, which don’t require a ton of prep.
Get it for just R200, or if you’d like to contribute more, there’s an option to buy it for R500. Remember, this isn’t for profit, all sales go towards their staffs’ salaries.
Several of these recipes we would usually keep closely guarded, but in these strange times, we find a lot of joy in sharing recipes and keeping The Counter alive.
