Oxbow Country Estate has an outdoor garden pavilion for a ceremony with sweeping views and an intimate chapel if you prefer a more traditional route. Each can seat 200 guests and each is equally breathtaking in its simple, white aesthetic.
The Riverbed Hall, which lets in plenty of natural light and is surrounded by more signature Oxbow Estate gardens, spills out onto a spacious patio that runs along a tranquil river. The hall can seat up to 200 guests and has plenty of space for a dance floor, as well as a fully stocked bar with internal and external service hatches, and lighting features to create the perfect mood.
Oxbow Country Estate will handle your catering with the utmost care by working with you to create the ideal menu. Potential and booked bridal couples have the option to explore various tasting menus for their big day. Tastings will need to be scheduled according to the dates available on their website and will be charged per person.
Honeymoon Packages
To make it the most complete of days, Oxbow Country Estate also has a romantic honeymoon suite available for your first night as Mr and Mrs, which is included in the cost of your wedding package, but definitely feel free to stay longer! This sprawling slice of heaven comes with a dining and lounge area and a fireplace, as well as:

- Exclusive use of Oxbow Country Estate for the duration of your wedding with photographic scenery, gardens and lakes.
- Bride and Groom dressing facilities with light snacks.
- Wooden patio tables and chairs and breakaway lounges for guests.
- Administration costs and function co-ordination.
Catering Options
Catering is an optional extra, at a charge of R554 per head. Should you choose this option, you’ll get:
- Beautifully plated and served pre-selected menus.
- Full layout and setup of the function with banqueting tables, cutlery, white crockery and glassware.
- White floor length tablecloths, napkins and wrought iron chairs.
- Elegantly carved wooden easel for seating plan display.
Summer venue hire begins at R17 400 and winter venue hire from R13 400. They will cater for a minimum of 50 guests for weddings from Monday to Friday and 80 guests for weekend weddings.
