S.Pellegrino celebrates the 125th Anniversary and launches the 125th Anniversary Special Edition Bottle

Since its origin in San Pellegrino Terme in the 19th century, the gentle bubbles of S.pellegrino have been sparkling people’s tables; connecting cultures, stories and emotions, and accompanying the best fine dining experiences around the world.

Today, S.Pellegrino celebrates the 125th anniversary, a prestigious milestone in its history as a global symbol of Made in Italy.

The “Società Anonima delle Terme di San Pellegrino” – which became Sanpellegrino in 1970 – is founded in 1899 and later listed on the Milan Stock Exchange.

  • In its first year, it produces 35,343 bottles of S.Pellegrino sparkling mineral water, of which 5,562 are shipped overseas. Initially ordered by summer visitors to the springs, the elegant bottles subsequently started to attract an international clientele, becoming a real icon of taste and elegance in each of the over 150 countries in which it can be found.

To mark the incredible 125th Anniversary achievement, the sparkling mineral water brand is proud to present a limited-edition bottle and cheer to another 125 years together. The 125th Anniversary Special Edition Bottle is a tribute to the gentle bubbles of S.Pellegrino, which have, over the decades, enhanced those cherished moments people share around the table, where the best moments in life are savoured. It is finely decorated and accompanied by a unique label.

On this occasion, the iconic red star is surrounded by countless, delicate light blue bubbles, which are festively exploding to celebrate together and inspire people to bring their best to the table.
