Future Farm is re-inventing our conventional meat consumption by creating a range of vegan alternatives that we can use instead of meat that brings the same flavours and textures so you won’t even notice the difference.
It’s as simple as swapping the meat ingredients with Future Farm products.
Vegan Chilli Burger Recipe
Ingredients
For the chilli no carne:
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 1 celery stick, finely chopped
- 2 packets of Future Farm Mince
- 6 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1 red chilli, finely chopped
- A small handful of coriander, stalks finely chopped, leaves reserved for garnish
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 2 teaspoons ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 250 ml red wine
- 2 tablespoons vegan bouillon powder
- 200 ml boiling water
- 1 teaspoon caster sugar
- 2 x 400 g tins of chopped tomatoes
- 2 x 400 g tins of kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- Juice of 1 lime
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
For the burgers:
- 4 burger buns
- 2tablespoons vegan mayo
- 2 teaspoons neutral oil
- 2 x packets of Future Farm Burgers
- 4 slices of vegan cheese
- 4 large lettuce leaves
- 4 tablespoons of pickled jalapenos
- 2 avocados, peeled and thinly sliced
