Described as one of the world’s most beautiful vineyards, Klein Constantia is set amidst ancient trees and lush greenery on the upper foothills of the Constantiaberg, with superb views across the Constantia Valley and False Bay.
The 146 hectare wine estate originally formed part of “Constantia”, a vast property established in 1685 by Simon van der Stel, the first governor of the Cape.
This particular valley was chosen not only for its beauty, but also for the decomposed granite soils on its slopes, gently cooled by ocean breezes.

KLEIN CONSTANTIA CLASSIC TASTING

This offering includes 5 signature terroir driven wines which reflect the essence of Klein Constantia and sister farm Anwilka. We offer two distinctly different Sauvignon Blancs, two distinctly different red blends from the two properties and a sample of the legendary Vin de Constance.
KLEIN CONSTANTIA PREMIUM TASTING

This offering is an extension of the Classic tasting and includes our single vineyard MCC, a single vineyard Sauvignon blanc and our single vineyard Chardonnay.
KLEIN CONSTANTIA SAUVIGNON BLANC TERROIR TASTING

An exploration of five different expressions of Sauvignon blanc – including 3, limited release, single vineyard wines, originating from our some of our highest lying sites. All are very limited and not generally available. Only possible by booking in advance.
KLEIN CONSTANTIA VIN DE CONSTANCE COLLECTOR’S TASTING

A once in a lifetime opportunity to taste through 3 rare vintages of Vin de Constance. Carefully selected by the winemaker, this offering explores the chapters of this iconic wine’s history spanning over 2 decades. Each tasting is redeemable by purchasing a handcrafted Vin de Constance vintage collectors’ box, featuring one bottle of each vintage tasted.
Join a Cellar Tour at Klein Constantia
Enhance your experience by adding a cellar tour and choosing the privacy of Duggie’s Dungeon for your tasting.
Cellar tours take approximately 30 minutes. A vineyard tour, which takes 40 minutes and includes a serving of MCC on the viewing deck when weather allows, can also be arranged. These tours are limited to a maximum of 8 guests.
