In a glamorous affair on the evening of Sunday 18th November, the winners of the 2018 Eat Out Mercedes-Benz Restaurant Awards were announced in Cape Town to much anticipation.
The Jordan Restaurant with George Jardine did exceptionally well and is currently rated number 12 in South Africa. Headed up by the very talented Head Chef Kyle Burns, The Restaurant and Jordan is set in the beautifully tranquil setting, overlooking the Stellenbosch Valley.
The food is exquisite with a focus on locally sourced and seasonal ingredients. There is also a magnificent range of rare vintage Jordan wines to accompany your meal.
Opening in 2009, The Jordan Restaurant with George Jardine moved into a renovated tobacco curing house surrounded by vineyards overlooking a lake below the cellar and tasting room. George Jardine’s move to the Jordan Restaurant has added substance to Stellenbosch restaurant scene and has added fantastic value to this already thriving wine estate.
