Winter is on its way and it’s the perfect time of the year to enjoy a glass of wine in front of a cosy fireplace whilst tucking into a hearty bowl of soup and home baked bread.
This winter Lanzerac Wine Estate, home of the world’s first bottled Pinotage, invites you to join them during May, June, July and August for a series of after-work winter inspired tastings. The tastings will be presented in the comfort of the Tasting Room and the inviting fireplace is guaranteed to add extra warmth from the cold weather. Look forward to sampling some of Lanzerac’s new release wines as well as a few favourites such as the Cabernet Sauvignon and iconic Pinotage. Before making your way back home after the tasting enjoy a hearty bowl of delicious soup and home baked breads on offer. This will also be the perfect opportunity to stock up on wines which will be on sale at cellar door prices.
The tastings, which will start at 5:30pm, are scheduled for 31 May, 29 June, 26 July and 31 August.
Pre-booking is essential as space is limited to 30 guests per evening to ensure an intimate wine tasting experience. The cost of R95 per person includes a welcome drink, the wine tasting and a light dinner of soup and bread afterwards. Your winter warmer evening will conclude by 8pm, allowing some extra time at home to unwind before calling it a day.
