The Table Bay will be hosting cooking classes for kids throughout the year!
Buoyed by the overwhelming response to The Table Bay’s Mini Chefs Cooking Experiences, Executive Chef Jocelyn Myers-Adams is weaving her magic once again to bring children, food and fun together in a series of Alice in Wonderland-inspired culinary workshops from April to December 2017.
Children aged 5 to 12 are called to follow Myers-Adams for a journey of creative exploration to prepare exciting dishes and treats. Mini Chefs will get to work side by side The Table Bay Chef’s for two inspiring hours while learning some special tricks of the trade. Children will prepare something different at each themed workshop and will get to take home what they have prepared.
“Harnessing a passion for cooking and culinary art from a young age is what these workshops are all about. Cooking is an enduring life skill and can be a wonderful creative outlet for young people. Let’s not forget that aside from being a creative hobby, cooking can also turn into an exciting career one day,” says Myers-Adams.
Mini Chefs takes place in The Table Bay’s Atlantic at 12h30 on scheduled Saturdays. The cost to participate is R325 per child. Booking is essential. To book, please email: tablebaydining@suninternational.com or 021 406 5988
