Mother’s Day at Devil’s Peak De Oude

Devil’s Peak De Oude is located in a lovingly restored 1677 heritage building, De Oude Welgemoed at the foot of Tygerberg. With a combination of Old World heritage and beautiful natural surrounds, De Oude has rustic charm and a phenomenal menu championing fresh local produce, handled with care.

Being part of the Devil’s Peak family, you can expect a wide selection of craft beer, eighteen rotating taps will offer regular favourites and a number of limited releases. They also have a wide selection of craft spirits and local wines. Even more reason to join them on Mother’s Day, the 13th of May, for a 3-course feast!

Starting on a high note, the meal begins with a selection of freshly baked, home-style Breads with Terrines, Pickles & Pate’s. Their mouth-watering mains include both a meat and a vegetarian option: Smoked Roast Beef with all the trimmings or Aubergine Parmigiana with vine roasted tomatoes and rocket salad.

The meal is rounded off elegantly with a decadent Homemade Malva Pudding with Amarula Custard and Braai’d Marshmallow Ice Cream. A meal to really satisfy and delight!

The set menu is R280 per person and R140 per child under 11 years.
