The latest murder mystery dinner is being hosted at Knife Restaurant on Friday, 27 September at 7pm.
Hold onto your lunch as you revisit the scene of a heinous crime – the Big Top circus that burnt to ash in a blazing inferno almost a century ago. All you have to go on is old newspaper clippings. There were no survivors.
Locals claim that every year on the anniversary of the fire the flickering lights of the Big Top Circus can be seen in the distance beckoning passersby to buy a ticket to the infernal show. Those who had the courage to investigate or innocently bought a ticket reported that the Big Top would crash down amidst screams of horror at midnight before the spectre would disappear leaving them standing in an empty field.
Will the troupe be doomed to relive that horrible night for an eternity? Don your best circus performer/freak outfit and come and find out. The cost is R450 per person and includes a three-course dinner to die for.
