Towards the end of October the V&A Market on the Wharf will be launching their exciting new addition to the market – the beer garden. Located in Noble Square in the V&A Waterfront, the Market is positioned next door to the Two Oceans Aquarium and offers plenty of parking, air-conditioning for those hot Cape Town summer days and a variety of top local produce suppliers.
Oktoberfest at the V&A Waterfront
The launch of the V&A Market on the Wharf beer garden will occur between the 30th October – 2ndNovember and will coincide with the start of the well-known European festival – Oktoberfest– celebrated around the world with young ladies dressed up in German beer-maid outfits carrying large steins (huge mugs) of sloshing beer to thirsty revellers. Customers visiting the beer garden during the Oktoberfestperiod can look forward to a variety of fun events including best-dressed competitions. The beer garden will welcome patrons with a selection of the finest (and much-loved) local craft beer from producers such as Darling Breweries, Devil’s Peak Breweries and Windhoek Lager. The market is open daily from 9:30 – 6pm and is the ideal venue for a thirst quenching post-work, or lunchtime beer on a summer’s day.
