Have you been to a One Ingredient dinner yet (read more about it here: clickity click)? If not, you’re in for a goodie, because Matt Manning has announced the one ingredient to be the hero of the November menu: sweetcorn! That’s a fun time, as is the paired wine from De Meye, Nico van der Merwe Wines and Flagstone. The wines and aprons will be available to purchase after the dinner at One Ingredient by either paying cash or ordering the wine to be delivered to your door. Seats are VERY limited so book now.
One Ingredient Sweetcorn Menu
Canapés
Seared squid, roasted corn, chorizo.
Amuse Bouche
Sweetcorn and tarragon.
Starter
Poached langoustine tail, asian style porkbelly, char grilled sweetcorn, langoustine foam and cashew crumble.
(This course has a cooking demo and then you get to recreate the starter before sitting down and enjoying your dish with a carefully selected wine)
Main
Herb crusted springbok, sweetcorn purée, seared courgette, spiced plum fluid gel, and caramelised shallots.
(Demo, cook, and eat again)
Dessert
Sweetcorn soufflé, caramel popcorn, raspberry and tarragon
