Curious about Asian cuisine?
Ginger and Lime is an excellent venue and activity for foodies or even just people who love to eat and socialise around food.
They host fun, relaxed and informal cooking classes that are ‘interactive’ in nature. Instead of having formal stations, they cook collectively and help prepare the meal together. Some chop the tomatoes, one stirs the pot and another pours the wine. Guests can be as involved as they wish.
On the 19th of May, they will be hosting a cooking class exploring Pan Asian cuisine with guest chef Kuan Lai. Things kick off at 10 am and tickets are R795 per person.
All guests get the recipes on arrival and are encouraged to ask questions, take notes (if they wish) while they demonstrate tips, tricks and tasty meals that can inspire home cooking and entertaining.
You’ll be making anywhere between 6-8 dishes (people leave Ginger and Lime with full hearts and full bellies!) and get the guests involved in the prep and the plating. It’s a very fun experience.
