The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spahas once again teamed up with CANSA to present their annual CuppaforCANSA High Tea / #CuppaforCANSA12A, to raise awareness and funds for CANSA’s valuable work. Overlooking the glorious Atlantic Seaboard, the event promises to be a sumptuous affair with decadent treats from Chef Christo Pretorius and Pastry Chef, Gina Marziani. Accompanied by tea, coffee and a welcome glass of Pink Lady Alice MCC, generously sponsored by Muratie – this is the perfect occasion to celebrate friendship, show support and have fun… all for a worthy cause.
This is one of our biggest fundraising events. We raised in excess of R50 000 for CANSA in 2016, so we’d love everybody’s help to better that by at least R10 000 this year. – says Michael Nel, general manager of The Twelve Apostles.
Due to the popularity of this annual event, with two sittings on Thursday 28th September from 10h00 – 12h30 and 15h00 – 17h30, booking is essential.
This year’s host and MC, is Mrs South Africa Charity 2017, Claire Gardiner. Claire, an internationally qualified aesthetician, businesswoman and founder of the Learn to Fly Ballet Enrichment Programme for underprivileged children, was selected from this year’s Mrs South Africa finalists to guide the top ten finalists of 2017 in raising funds for CANSA.
Claire has already hosted two CuppaforCANSA events where R320 000 was raised for this important charity. “I believe giving back is the true path to healing, which in turn is rewarding as we are all destined to touch others’ lives in one way or another to ultimately make a difference,” says Claire.
Book for yourself or round up a group of friends at R360 per person; your ticket includes ‘Bubbly on arrival, a goody bag and a limited edition gift box from Ajeless Africa. Newcomer to the South African cosmetic scene, Ajeless Africa is a proudly South African ethical, cosmetics brand.
Those who miss out on the CUPPAforCANSA High Tea /#CuppaforCANSA12A, can still support the CANSA fundraising drive, during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, when R25 per High Tea sold during the month will be donated to the organisation.
