Save the date in your calendar: On 9 November Renate Riedemann, the popular electric violinist who has made her mark in South Africa with her elegant and enthralling performances, is coming to Benguela Cove.
Renate, a sensitive soul with a voice of an angel, virtuosic flair and beautiful tone on the violin.
The music industry has praised her for her neat and precise showmanship and ability to glide effortlessly between violin and voice.
A multi-skilled musician with a vast repertoire including current radio hits and music trends, she is equally at home performing with her Resound String Quartet, as with popular fusion band CODA Africa or in exciting concepts such as The Bubble or The Galaxy Dress.
For this special concert, Renate will be joined on stage by celebrated guitarist/producer, Svem Blumer. The cost is R250 per person. Children under 12 pay R100 and children under 4 get in four free.
You can purchase food from Benguela’s Moody Lagoon restaurant before and after the show, as well as wines, beers and ciders, or feel free to buy from their fast food trucks. No food or wine is allowed to be brought on the premises.
