Salon Soirées Present an Evening with Trizanne Signature Wines

Award-winning chef and restaurateur Luke Dale Roberts in collaboration with winemaker Trizanne Barnard of Trizanne Signature Wines, is set to present an extraordinary dining experience at his latest venture, SALON on Friday 28 June 2024.

SALON is the most recent addition to Dale Roberts’ portfolio of culinary destinations; an effortlessly stylish space defined by its stylish space, sophisticated dining and intriguing wine and cocktail collection.

“The ‘Dark Room’ experience was, for me, the high point of The Test Kitchen at the time, so I decided to emulate that here at SALON,” says Dale Roberts.

  • “On the Journey Menu, I’ve taken each country that I’ve worked in or travelled through that had an impact on me and created a signature dish from that country’s culinary heritage. I really wanted this menu to be , focused and interactive. I want people to come along on a voyage that really shows my evolution and influences as a chef.”

Guests of this event will be able to indulge in a five-course dinner experience led by the wines. After tasting the wines with Trizanne, Luke Dale Roberts and SALON’s Executive Chef Carla Schulze created a menu to express each wine’s personality. The soirée promises an exploration of flavours, textures, and culinary innovation that have become synonymous with Luke Dale Roberts’ talents.

A glass of the Trizanne Makeba 2020 Cap Classique on arrival, with tantaslising Sondagskloof White 2022 paired with the snacks will set the tone for the culinary odyssey ahead. Each course of the soirée’s gastronomic experience have been paired with wines from the Trizanne Signature Wines portfolio, and will be poured by Trizanne Barnard and SALON’s recently appointed sommelier, Tadiswa Chikwanha.  Highlights include the unusual 2018 Sondagskloof White and an intriguing 2019 Barbera.

“I’m thrilled to collaborate with Trizanne Barnard at SALON,” says Luke Dale Roberts. “This event embodies our shared commitment to excellence, creativity, and the art of fine dining. Together, we aim to create an unforgettable culinary journey that celebrates the very best of fine cuisine and handcrafted wine.”

Places for this exceptional dining occasion are limited to 45 guests, priced at R1150 per person, inclusive of the five-coures dinner menu, snacks and wines.   Regrettably, dietaries are limited to pescatarian and vegetarian only.
