The Eatery is a “Bring-your-own-Booze (BYOB) restaurant located in Wynberg with the sole focus on food. They don not sell alcohol at all, so please feel free to bring along your favourite wine, beer or even the hard stuff. There is no corkage, however the restaurant does require all guests to at least have a main meal when visiting the eatery.
The restaurant has recently introduced a new set menu which is only available during lunch hours on a Sunday. It only costs R149 per person where you are able to choose either a starter and main or a main and dessert.

Starters
Ma se Bobotie Rolls
Sweet and spicy bobotie wrapped in crispy pastry, served with your favourite
Mrs. Balls peach chutney.
S&P Squid
Baby squid tubes and tentacles dusted with flour and spices and fried until crispy
served with grilled lemon aioli and fresh rocket.
Piggy Poppers
Jalapeño peppers stuffed with mozzarella cheese, wrapped in streaky bacon, served with
a sweet cranberry dipping sauce.
Mains
Served with your choice of chips, grilled vegetables or side salad.
Sir Loin
We give our sirloin a wet rub of extra virgin olive oil, fresh rosemary, fresh thyme,
Dijon mustard, salt and freshly cracked black pepper.
Grilled to your liking and left to rest before it is served.
Grilled Farm Chicken
Free range half chicken sous vide with lemon, garlic and fresh thyme, finished off on the grill
and basted with a lemon and herb butter.
Grilled Fresh Fish
Fresh fish grilled to perfection dressed with a chimichurri sauce and served with a side of your choice.
Ostrich Steak
Ostrich fillet rubbed in a “Hunters Biltong Spice” cooked over open flames.
Dessert
Churros
South American deep-fried doughnut fingers dusted with cinnamon sugar and served with vanilla ice-cream.
