The wait is over! Vergenoegd Löw’s much-loved Jazz Under the Stars event is back, promising an unforgettable evening of music, fine food, and exquisite wine – this time in celebration of the annual wine grape harvest.
Join the historic Stellenbosch estate on Friday, 28 March, for a night where the golden glow of dusk in the Cape winelands meets the rich, soulful sounds of Moonshine, a jazz ensemble led by acclaimed saxophonist Dan Shout.
With a motto of “jazz with a kick”, their performance will transport you through the decades with classics from legends such as Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Frank Sinatra, and Ray Charles.
- Chef Drikus Brink and his team at Geuwels and Clara’s Barn – the estate’s two top restaurants – will serve up a delectable, Cape heritage-inspired harvest menu, crafted from the freshest seasonal ingredients. Meanwhile, enjoy award-winning wines by the estate’s young winemaker, Vusi Dalicuba, available at special event prices.
